We all have secrets. Plus, we all feel the need to share them with someone. Anna Ladd shares them with everyone! And she calls her installations-photos Things I Told the Internet, But Didn’t Tell My Mom.

The London’s University of the Arts student is conveying the exact same phrases she has posted online, but has never told her more intimate ones -up to now, obviously. She is creating banners with coloured letters, and then, she hangs them over bikes, walls, doors, as long as it is in public. What they are saying though, is not totally in agreement with their more lively visual character. She is exploring and commenting on that weird feeling of security(?) that one feels, when he shares his thoughts with someone unknown. Or maybe is it our people’s judgement that scares us the most, and use anonymity as a mask?

Anna Ladd, however, managed to share her secrets with her mother, even in such way!
