The art gallery Anno Domini in California presents Art of Zines 2010, featuring hundreds of zines from basements, bedrooms and midnight copy shops throughout the U.S. and abroad, at a reception starting at 20:00 and going on till late at night with live music performances by Adam Lynn, Zoe Boekbinder and Corpus Callosum.
The place will be packed with those little diy, cut-and-paste, copied-on-the-cheap, hand folded, self-distributed gems that continue to exist and fleurish outside the mainstream because someone, somewhere feels the need to express themselves. It’ s that simple.
