Carrières de Lumières is hosting the exhibition “Klimt and Vienna, a century of gold and colors”. The exhibition is a journey through 100 years of Viennese art, with Gustav Klimt as a main influence. Apart from Klimt’s paintings, visitors can admire works of other contemporary artists he inspired. Moreover, projections cover the walls with paintings by using moving images and sound. Visitors have the opportunity to wander freely around the place and have an interactive experience. This exhibition has become a major attraction for millions of people who visit the small city of Baux-de-Provence in the south of France.
