Fat Squirrel: James Franco’s art exhibition

Californian actor/director/poet/musician James Franco, has just announced a new exhibition of his artworks, entitled Fat Squirrel, which is held at London’s Siegfried Contemporary gallery until December, 20th in the showroom Siegfried Contemporary Private Showroom in London. The collection includes paintings of animals ( e.g. Table Triple Team painting showing an orgy deer) and selfportraits of the artist himself, tangled with iconic figures of historical people, as Jimmy Dean.

Franco, attempting to escape the label “sex symbol”, which had been declared in 2009 by salon.com and trying to build the profile of a serious artist who supports what he does, reported “This exhibition includes all the paintings, which I had not exhibited since I was very young – I paint since I was in high school. ”
