Artist Shirin Abedinirad has a thing for mirrors. She has recently presented a pyramid of mirrors and now, she has used mirrors to create a ziggurat. She loves merging the sky with the ground and play with optical illusions.
“The Mirrored Ziggurat acts as a staircase, which seeks to connect nature with human beings and to create union of ancient history and today’s world. This installation offers a transformative view of the self.” says the Iranian artist about her latest installation.
