The famous designer Philippe Stark created a new furnishing system for the Italian manufacturer Cassina. This new lounge system called Myworld includes a wide variety of pieces that can be combined together along with other accessories such as a cupboard in the shape of a box.

Myworld is capable of satisfing any functional needs of the modern man. The system has a built in power station, a USB charger and a Duracell power-mat that can charge all the user’s portable devices. All these are hidden in a hooded box specially constructed to keep the elegant aesthetic and clean design untampered.

According to Stark: “We live in a schizophrenic world. Let’s assume that. MyWorld is a cocoon, a nest, a world where we can be egocentric and comfortably commune with our own shadow or collect some snatches of news from the world that is said to be real”.
