There are six completely different ways, to read this 16th century book from the National Library of Sweden. Erik Kwakkel, is a Medieval book historian was mind-blown himself when he realized the “back to back” binding with strategically placed clasps was in deed six famous books between the 1550’s and 1570’s bound into one. Without doubt this is one of the finest specimens of handcrafted ingenuity.
