“Sugar glass” by Fernando Laposse

As its name reveals, “Sugar glass” is a drinking glass made out of melted sugar. Fernando Laposse from Mexico, combined the kitchen craft with a basic process of rotational moulding in order to create a special glass that is also usable and edible.

Sugar glass offers a unique experience to the person using it since while enjoying his drink, the inner of the glass starts to melt and changes the taste of liquor by making it sweeter. Once the user has fully consumed the drink, he can “eat” the sugar glass which can now be consumed as a lollipop.
