A huge sketch of Karl Lagerfeld reading a newspaper at Paris Galerie Lafayette on Tuesday night was the teaser of Kaiser’s new project, a publication named “The Karl Daily”. There is a whole industry around the multi-tasking head designer of Chanel, created by himself and this newspaper will do the same. Advertising Lagerfeld and all of his collaborations.

And as expected, “The Karl Daily” will revolve around Karl. From interviews about new collaborations, up to ads of Karl Lagerfeld products, like candles, blankets, etc.

The first “The Karl Daily” -with the witty headline “Haute off the Press”- will launch on 22nd of September in seven European cities, where Lagerfeld flagship stores can be found, while it will be also available “in other cool spots” in China, the next station of it, according to WWD.

And for those who wonder what Choupette’s role is going to be, Karl’s cat will be both a guest editor and reporter, alongside other fictional characters.
