Twice a year, Asterdam’s centre is at its best for both the national and international fashion world, thanks to the interactive exhibition, Modefabriek. It started back in 1996, as an innovativve experiment, and it has turned out to be one of the most important institutions for the country’s industry.

Its success is attributed to its progressive and high-quality character, as well as to the loyalty to the original idea: pave the way for old and new businesses to promote their work, thrugh a creative process, which combines fashion, music and food in an up-to-date way. Today, Modefabriek welcomes more than 19.000 visitors and presents more than 600 brands in a space of 40.000 square meters.

One of the most important facts of this event is the collaboration with MINT, which started a decade ago. MINT is a platform, aiming to the promotion of ecological consciousness in fashion. “MINT presents a garment in a new and innovative way, respecting the environment and promoting the current progressive thinking in fashion” says Charlotee van Waes Charlie + Mary’s agency co-owner.
