MUNSOO KWON’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection is inspired by W. Eugene Smith’s photography, ‘The Walk to Paradise Garden’ in 1946. The picture shows two children who are the photographer’s own holding hands in hands walking towards a clearing in the woods. Black, charcoal, navy, burgundy and white are the basic colours of the collection, underlining the three buttoned coat and collarless jackets made of alpaca and wool. We loved the heavy jackets, the embroidery and the different types of plaid, like tartan and buffalo checks, as well as the polka dot shirts, not to mention the jacquard details.
