Cara Delevingne – Girl on Fire

Cara Delevigne

Cara Delevingne, stars in the Pepe Jeans S/S’13 campaign, after taking part in numerous fashion shows for prestigious labels, being on the cover of important fashion magazines and participating in the movie “Anna Karenina”. The talented British model talks to OZON Raw about her dreams and ambitions that go beyond the fashion industry, her interests as well as her personal style.

In case of a fire which garment would you save first?
That would be my leather jacket, beyond doubt!

How would you describe your personal style?
I dress as a tomboy by day, but when it comes to formal events I prefer to embody a certain character. I could wear anything and still
feel comfortable, as long as I can identify with my role.

Which is your favorite memory from a fashion show?
The time I opened the Chanel fashion show in Versailles is a special memory for me– you only get to know you are the first to go on the catwalk a few minutes before the show, which is stressful but, in the same time, exiting and amazing.

Besides modeling, you are also an aspiring actor and a keen drummer. Do you have any other hidden talents?
I love singing and apparently I enjoy getting rid of all this tension that comes out while playing drums, which is physically exhilarating. My part in ‘Anna Karenina’ was probably one of the most important moments of my career and made me want to pursue acting a bit more.

How do you handle all the criticism you receive?
Luckily I get a lot of support from my family, Storm model agency, the people with whom I co-operate in the fashion world and definitely my followers in Twitter, who don’t let me feel lonely. I love them. They all help keep my feet on the ground.

How do you imagine yourself in five years from now?
Living on a desert island, fishing and growing my own vegetables. With a few personal albums and films on my CV.
