As first impressions go, these shoes don’t automatically blow you away. Far from it. Some of you may remember them form your younger years, from family photos, your very own experiences. What we do know is that this season, flatforms will be part of nearly every woman’s wardrobe. The traditional geisha shoe of choice, Ziggy Stardust’s very own favorite during the 1970s, the continuation of  McLaren and Westwood’s creeper shoe, you could place them somewhere in between the orient, punk and disco culture. Despite efforts to class them as just another shooting star, flatforms are back and are looking to stay.
