Globe showcases 30th anniversary collection

Globe has delved into its history to mark its thirtieth anniversary. The brothers have been skateboarding fanatics since their youth and began their entrepreneurial adventure by developing their own brand. “We never imagined we’d make a business out of skateboarding, explained the group’s current boss. We only wanted to make sure we didn’t have to find a job in order to skateboard.” This is the story told in a 700-pages book featuring pictures and interviews and entitled ‘Unemployable’.

From this work, a collection was born, to be showcased by Globe in Paris at the Citadium Caumartin department store, for three weeks starting from 22nd February. The capsule collection includes t-shirts featuring some of the book’s key pictures, as well as tees, chinos, wind-breakers, a series of boards and also the re-edition of sneaker models by Rodney Mullen and Chet Thomas.
