Hermès & Vans

HermesVans

Hermès is collaborating with Vans and Robert Verdi requested from the famous shoe-company to make him some pairs of shoes that would be decorated with the drawings from his vintage Hermès scarfs. The result is better than we could expect. The marriage between the Hermès prints and the white rubber sole of Vans is an example of how the ‘opposites attract one another’. In addition, the two brands used their own materials as to create a distinctive product. Since 1973, Hermès has been using silk for their scarfs. Vans have been producing shoes using the classic rubber sole since 1966.Even if these two brands are totally different, they managed to make something that reflects the success of their collaboration.
