Shirts Confuse Facebook Facial Recognition

main_0

A design student in Amsterdam has made a line of tees that trick Facebook into recognising celebrities that aren’t actually in photos. The cheeky prankster pieces are part of a collection called FaceValue – a project by Simone C. Niquille which aims to screw with Facebook’s facial recognition software by using a camouflage pattern made up of the blurred and twisted faces of celebrity impersonators. You can buy the shirts here.
