Tommy Hilfiger has partnered with Pivlion, a company that manufactutes solar structures and products and the result of this collaboration is the Solar Powered Jacket.
It is a jacket with removable solar panels that provides solar energy to power electronic devices such as mobiles and tablets. A cable is running discreetly through the garment’s lining connecting the panels to a removable battery pack in the jacket’s front pocket. The battery pack can be charged via a laptop or external power outlet, and when not in use, it stores energy for use at a later time. The jacket features a double usb port while it is waterproof and lightweight.
The Solar Powered Jacket is availiable for both women and men in select Tommy Hilfiger shops across the world. Anyone interested can either contact Pvilion here, or visit Tommy Hilfiger‘s website here.
