What Happened When a Passenger Couldn’t Stop Singing Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” During a Flight?

There are many reasons why a passenger is asked to leave a flight. Mostly, for security reasons. According to London Evening Standard, a non-stop singing passenger was a sufficient reason for a plane to make an emergency landing in Kansas.

Shortly after taking off from New York, a woman started singing Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You, the title song of 1992 movie The Bodyguard. At some time though, it was hard for the crew and the passengers to cope with her euphoric singing and this is how the emergency landing was decided. A federal air marshal escorted the woman out of the plane, while she kept singing, even when while wearing handcuffs. The passenger after being interviewed, was released without charge.
