Text: George Nikas

Ever since he gave up collecting baseball cards and sometime during his crusade for an endless summer, the 23-year old slacker, came up with his very own ‘Dookie’. And so, having gone through a difficult year, Nathan Williams makes a grand come back. Armed in his very best Californian suit and together with the late Jay Reatard’s band, Nathan embraces Orange Country skate punk combined with surf pop by The Beach Boys and in no time the super-geek who used to record from his parents’ house, is transformed into the King of the beach. The sun is shinning more than ever before, the boys wait patiently on their longboards for the right wave and although the scene has is an air of nostalgia, the image is in full HD.
