Our first track of the year is Belispeak by Purity Rings, the new project of Megan James and Corin Roddick, a new duo from Canada who is expected to be one of the next big things of 2012. Having not yet released any album, video clip or EP yet, Purity Ring released three 7″ singles during 2011 gaining immediate love by the best music blogs, thanks to Megan’s wonderful Knife-like vocals and their unique futuristic high-energy pop. Their debut album Soulja Boy is set to be released early this year. Meanwhile, the duo is going to open some gigs of Neon Indian during their North American tour.
