What can be better that a spontaneous gig on the city streets in the middle of a hot summer day? This must have been the idea that came to Benjamin Newland’s head and together with his atypical study group Platform 13, all students of the Royal College of Art, put it into practice. So, they came up with The Nomadic Sound System, a wireless and wearable sound system ideal for mobile musical performances.

Nine speakers-uniforms set music free from cables and immovable equipment, opening up possibilities for mobile performance and new forms of audience participation.
