Τhe huge construction is detail-rich, adorned with renaissance architectural elements including tiny carved turrets, windows and drawbridges. Α second sculpture is formed into a massive ship, with billowing sandy sails and crashing waves. The series is presented as part of a city-wide campaign to bring fun -free- summer events to New Yorkers and tourists.
