Constantine Manos

Although he started his career as a black-and-white photographer, he has now decided to switch into color to create radiant compositions. As a matter of fact, in his own series and book American color, the photographer Constantine Manos had the idea to present a selection of 80 images which were, more or less, all shot at 1/250 of a second. Talking about his inspiration, he characterizes it as follows: “ It’s a remarkable thought about the moment – that 1/250 of a second, of a minute, of an hour, of a day, of a year, that is gone forever, that you made this image at that precise time – that will never be made again.”
