The Naked Boys of Doopler

The boys of “Into the black” is a proof that a black background is enough to bring out the charm of the youthful body. And to introduce us to the voyeuristic universe of Armando Frezze Durand.

Doopler is a magazine known for its tributes to street kids, boys and girls (mostly boys), models, designers, friends and outsiders with a strong but simple life attitude. When its editor-in-chief, Armando Frezze Durand, decided to publish an art book with black & white portraits of the boys that surround him inside and outside work, the result was worthy of the magazine’s prestige.

Simple, well-lit, without a trace of sophistication or easy impression, the black & white photos of Armando Frezze Durand come to demonstrate that even the thin boys next door can exude eroticism. And without much effort. Watch the digital promo of the exhibition in Berlin and the photos that follow and you will see why.
