Last week we spotted Alexander Wang‘s Parental Advisory sweatshirt on the runway. It was a key item of the designer’s Spring 2014 show during New York Fashion Week.
A similar kind of sweatshirt has been an Urban Outfitters best seller, for quite some months now at the reasonable price of $46. Well, celebrities like Rihanna, have been spotted wearing the A.Wang creation. We wondered where we could get it and for how much when we hit a wall. The wall of a $1,000 price tag – $998 to be more precise- for pre-order on Moda Operandi, and with a $498 deposit to make sure you get a delivery date between February and April.
We love Alexander Wang but seriously: Are you kidding? It’s just an unlined sweatshirt from a mix of cotton, nylon and rayon.
