Snøhetta and KARO* awarded 2010 European Prize for Urban Public Space

Opera House Oslo, designed by Norwegian architets Snøhetta, which connects city and fjord, urbanity and landscape, in a living and animated new part of town, together with Open-air Library by KARO, made of beer crates and materials from a former warehouse that provides sheltered seating areas and niches to store books brought their designers this year’s European Prize for Urban Public Space.
