Christian Dior presented yesterday their new short film for Miss Dior’s perfume, under the title “It’s Miss, Actually”, starring Natalie Portman. According to the screenplay, Portman is a bride that, despite the idyllic conditions (the wedding is taking place in Cote D’Azur, where everything seems like a fairytale) she quits, while her father walks her to her future husband. She takes of her white wedding gown and boards on a helicopter in great joy, while another man is kissing her neck. And all of these happen while Janis Joplin sings “Take Another Piece of my Heart“.

Anton Corbijn, the director of “It’s Miss, Actually”, said in Vogue about Portman:

“The story is about escaping, about getting away from all the things that tie you down in life. Natalie Portman was fantastic. She is real, she’s genuine. You can see it on the screen, and people relate to it. I think that this ‘truth’ is more important than beauty. Being a beautiful woman is not enough. She’s a real person, a good person, and her personality makes the difference.”
