A sneak peek into New York’s most expensive house

The penthouse located on the top of Pierre Hotel in New York and at the moment it is considered to be the most expensive house in town,  currently on the market for the hefty amount of 125 million dollars while it also has a monthly 47- thousand dollar maintenance bill.

The penthouse belonged to stock market analyst Martin Zweig until recently and takes up 3 entire floors, the 41st, the 42nd and 43rd, offering a spectacular panoramic view of 360 degree. The interior of the luxurious apartment is fully furnished according to the Palace of Versailles while the living room according to the listing is considered to be one of the most magnificent private owned rooms in the world. The house has 5 master bedrooms, 6 full baths, 3 half-baths, 4 adjoining terraces, separate guest suits and staff accommodations.

The house was bought in 1999 for 21.5 million dollars by the American analyst who died in the last year at the age of 70.
