The famous Bourgie Lamp revamped

Ferruccio Laviani’s iconic Bourgie lamp has been redesigned from Kartell’s contributor designers to celebrate its ten years on the market. Bourgie lamp, originally designed in 1994 from Laviani, is one of Kartell’s best sellers, skilfully combining classic style, richness and tradition with innovation and irony. The main design has been kept as it has been first shown, the group of designers has used different materials, shapes and functions of the lamp though. Designing team includes  Patricia Urquiola, Piero Lissoni, Front, Mario Bellini, Alberto Meda, Lenny Kravitz, Philippe Starck, Eugeni Quitllet, Christophe Pillet, Nendo, Tokujiin Yoshioka, Patrick Jouin, Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, Rodolfo Dordoni. “I feel honored that some of the world’s top designers have remixed my design” stated Laviani. The pieces will be exposed in different places around the globe including Salone del Mobile in Milan and ICFF in New York.
