“It’s just more fun when you have a closer look” proved by Tineke Meirink

Talented artist Tineke Meirink with her vivid imaginations gives life to every objects that are all around us and usually go unnoticed by offering them a new touch and personality.

In her series “Stop:Watch” the Dutch illustrator photographs simple objects and then digitally edits it in order to show a different and really beautiful image. Some solar panels in the artist’s eyes are a men T-shirt while an industrial pipe is transformed into the identical scene from the movie “Matrix”.

With the motivating phrase “It’s just more fun when you have a closer look” Meirink’s works awaken our imagination and urge us to pay more attention to the playful reality that is being unfolded right before our eyes.
