London Fashion Week: DAY 1

Romanticism can be dark. Multilayered, with a dominating white getting «dirty» from pink and black lines and patterns. Almost by mistake, like a goth who forgot to wear black.

Models in polkadot swim-wear, white glasses and red red lips laughing and smiling as they move on the catwalk. It is 1950’s at a quite, all shorted out American suburb were the girls are nice nice and sweet but most of all they are good girls!

Aminaka Wilmont

Androgynous forms wear hats with feathered wings that cover their faces. Spectral soft textiles that are blended with heavy leather jackets.

Ioannis Dimitrousis

Knitwear, fishnet and sequins. The women aggressive and sensual, in long see-through dresses, balancing on high heels, while the “boys” with tattoos and short jackets remain “boys”.

Eun Jeong

The winner of Fashion Fringe 2008. Lace, silk and chiffon. White, transparent and lethargic. Pearls and short grey shocks. Eung Jeong is inspired from 16th century ballet costumes.
