Books are artfully torn and turned into story-telling sculpures

Mini sculptures of stories pop out of books. Delta, aka Jodi Harvey-Brown, a Pennsylvania based artist (otherwise known as wetcanvas), handcrafts three-dimensional scenes that reflect popular works of fiction trying to depict a certain sense of motion.

Scenes from The Wind in the Willows, The Old Man and the Sea, Moby-Dick, Tom Sawyer even Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, are brought to life. Harvey-Brown can capture action placing her piece atop said open-faced books to heighten the imagery. The artist is open to custom commissions but you can also purchase some of her works via her Etsy shop.
