Origami headpieces designed by Qi Hu

Impressive masks and hats inspired by the Chinese mythology decorate the mens’ department of the Printemps store in Paris. The artful head-pieces representing lions, dragons and mythical creatures were created by Chinese accessory designer Qi Hu, who used the folding technique of origami. As she states, she chose to the masks because they don’t influence the clothing. In a interview for Dezeen website the designer said: “Origami is our childhood game, it has affected me since I was little.”

These headdresses are displayed on mannequins at the entry of the menswear department and will be on show until 18 March.
