Jean-François Lepage was born in Paris, France in 1960, his photography career began in 1980. He loves photography and collages, being able to created unique fashion imagery by mixing media and arts.

His early editorial work was featured in magazines such as Depeche Mode, 20 ans, Jill Magazine, Marie-Claire, Vogue UK… and Condé Nast Publications in Italy.

Since, his work was published in many international magazines – AnotherMan, All Magazine, Bmm, Common & Sense, Double, Exit magazine, Grey, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Italian Amica, Mixte, Numero, Nylon, Purple, Self Service, 7000 magazine, Sleek, Stiletto, TAR magazine, Twill, Vogue and Wall Paper.

Jean-François Lepage has also collaborated with fashion and cosmetics brands such as Comme des Garçons, Dior, Jil Sander, Lanvin, Levi’s, Masaki Matsushima, Nina Ricci, Repetto, Rue du Mail, Shu Uemura and Vanessa Bruno.

In 2009 to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the French fashion association ANDAM gave Jean-François Lepage free rein to interpret the vision of the fashion awards prize winners, Martin Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, Jeremy Scott and Gareth Pugh…, publishing a photography essay of the model Hannelore Knuts in the book “Modernes”: 20 years of contemporary fashion.

Jean-Francois has four children Vincent, Nuage, Norma & Saule, he lives in Paris.
