Sometimes it’s difficult to tell where the city ends.
In Tehran, due to financial/industrial issues, the city commissioned these monumental murals, which add a touch of the surreal to their city, whilst showcasing some great artists’ work.
We see the city walls becoming futuristic predictions, surreal aquatic environments; each transforming it’s canvas into something quite different. Mehdi Ghadiyanioo, the 33 year old artist who painted over 100 of these walls, has more of her work on Behance.
