A rather revolutionary presentation of Rick Owens Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Not the usual runway show.
Forty dancers –with the attitude of a true warrior-, roaring and rushing down the runway in Owens signature wrapped tropes. A mash of black and nude. The garments were embracing their figures as they were properly adjusted to allow maximum movement. It was electric and different, a meeting point between elegance and roughness.

Rick Owens took a different kind of approach to Paris Fashion Week this year by recruiting African American step dancers, who looked like normal, everyday, chubby even, women. It did not come across as the very definition of aesthetics but it sure was mind-blowing.
