Laser Sypmhony made of scannable jewelry by Hermès

Hermès teamed up with London based United Visual Artists design studio directed by ad agency Dan Paris, in order to create a symphony made of silver jewelry, scanned by a laser.

The installation named ‘Sound of Hermès Silver’, was created by placing 16 pieces from the Chaîne d’ancre collection onto specially designed turntables that moved using mechanical cogs, while scanned by a laser eliciting unique sounds for each jewel, which according to Hermès, has ‘its own particular voice’.

This idea was realized by Musician YoggyOne who interpreted the weight, density, size and even style of the pieces into music. Watch the impressive ‘Sound of Hermès Silver’ below:
