Vilsbøl de Arce is the design label of the Copenhagen based designers Prisca Vilsbøl and Pia de Arce. After wining the Design Talent of the Year at the 2010 Danish Fashion Awards Lady Gaga wore a black mask they designed as a shield from journalists.
This is their winter collection inspired by human anatomy, by using laser-cutting to represent a rib cage, a body undergoing a dissection and quilting to give the appearance of pulled musculature. It might sound disgusting but it has beautiful effects and textures.
