A collaborative photographic project by photographer Ari Marcopoulos, who was Andy Warhol’s assistant at the beginning of his career and world renowned skater Mark Gonzales, will be on show for a few more days in Franklin Parrasch Gallery, New York.
After shooting a series of photographs of Gonzales and model Diana Dondoe, Marcopoulos gave Gonzales the final printed pictures, so that he could draw and etch upon the surfaces of these photographs, leaving in this way his fingerprint on them. The proceeds of works sold from this exhibition will be given to a cancer research foundation.
