An impressive 17-storey tower inspired by nature, will be constructed the following years at Montpellier, France. Named “Arbre Blanc” which means White Tree, the tower is the result of Japanese Sou Fujimoto’s collaboration with French studio OXO Architects and Nicolas Laisné Associés. Its extravagant design and especially its balconies, represent the way that the branches of a tree sprout outwards in all directions. The tower will have 120 apartments, each offering a unique view to the residents. Moreover, it will house offices, an art gallery, a restaurant and even a bar with panoramic view.
Arbre Blanc’s construction will begin in 2015 and is expected to be completed in 2017.
