Camille Rose was born in 1970 and since then she lives and works in Los Angeles. She comes from an artistic family so it was a matter a time for her to become an artist. She studied in Otis College of Art and Design and then she took a Masters degree in Fine Arts. Shortly after her graduation she started making comics and illustrations. Camille was deeply inspired from Lowbrow art movement from the 70s and she admits being a huge fan of Disney’s characters. Below you can have a look to her creations that in spite of using themes familiar to children she has recreated them into powerful Gothic comics. Since 2000 she has exhibited her work a lot of times and she was featured in many magazines dedicated to painting and art.
