In case you have seen the new Norwegian passports, that everyone is in love with, thanks to their minimal design, then you won’t stop talking about the new electronic Canadian passports!
Since mid-2013, all the new Canadian passports are electronic (ePasspors) and there are some new extra security features, such as the three first letters of the country on every page, when see against light, while parts of tham can only be read via computer.
What is the most impressing feature of it though, is the toner used which changes based on the lighting conditions, and under black light, fireworks and Canada’s maple leaf-symbol appear on the pages.
Let’s all hope that all countries will follow the example these two countries have set!
