From April 1st to 30th, 2010 a drug detox residency will be offered by Hotel Marienbad, in Berlin, to artists, curators, critics and all those professionally related to the arts. The drug detox will take place under the therapeutic guidance and medical care of Gemeinschaftskrankenhaus Havelhöhe hospital and the Hotel Marienbad suite offers confidentiality and privacy and anonymity throughout the entire process
Hotel Marienbad, a hotel suite-art gallery, opened by the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in its front building, accommodates artists of all disciplines for the past two years. The artists do not pay for the room, but instead provide a public event in the hotel: exhibitions, performances, lectures or even concerts.
