The opening of artist Emi Avora exhibition was last night at the new gallery The Apartment owned by Vasilis Doupas. Avora first show at The Apartment gallery presents her collection of large paintings (oil on canvas) and acrylics. The artist has created a series of strange synthesis of drawings that verge on the line between fantasy and reality, past and present. The interior space that is framed with the artists pieces in luxurious, grandiose but at the same time claustrophobic. Baroque elements from another time combined with a modern aesthetic. This new exhibitory space is situated on 29 Ithakis St. in Kipseli and is exquisitely impressive! With the lovely cocktails and the buzzing atmosphere from inside the gallery, last night was on of the most enjoyable evenings we’ve attended lately.
Opening hours from Thursday to Friday 12-8, Saturday 12-6.
