The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club. The second rule of Fight Club is: you DO NOT talk about Fight Club!
Eighteen years after Chuck Palahniuk’s book release and fifteen years after David Fincher’s movie, Fight Club’s writer reveals details over the sequel of the story.
A 10-issue series will be released in May 2015 by Dark Horse Comics. The writer however, thinks that the book may be released a little earlier that year. The story is set 10 years after the first book’s end. The narrator of the movie -his never heard in the movie name, is Jack- is married to Marla and have a 9-year-old son. The story does not follow a linear evolution, but it will be set both in the past and the future. Tyler Durden is the narrator this time, waiting for the right time for his comeback. He is kidnapping Jack’s son, making his alter ego return to the Project Mayhem world.
Even though the publishers of both the book and the graphic series don’t want any more details to be revealed, Palahniuk’s presence in San Diego’s Comic Con this weekend, raises expectations. David Fincher, the movie’s director, will be present as well.
What we have so far, is the publication’s artwork.
