Heather Hansen draws with her entire body

Performing artist Heather Hansen uses her entire body to create black and white symmetrical drawings on a white canvas.

The young artist in her project called “Emptied Gestures” instead of the usual painting tools uses the movements of her body and a small piece of charcoal to create impressive large scale art pieces. Each piece is very emotionally charged and as the artist states she feels absolute emotional balance during its creation. Heather’s goal is to “match her heartbeat with the beat of the universe.”

This expressive dance art is currently presented in a group exhibition named “The Value of a Line” at the Ochi Gallery in Idaho. The exhibition will last until the 31st of March.
