These are a few pictures of the artworks presented at Gladstone Gallery’s , New York first exhibition of artist and activist Keith Haring. Keith Haring (1958- 1990) was a New York based artist who was determine to devote his career in creating public art. His works were expressing universal concepts like birth, death, love, sex and war and he has therefore able to attract a wide audience by trying to make his art accessible to everyone. The exhibition features his works on paper that were not seen before and focuses on the period of Haring’s early drawings. Also a selection of Haring’s early sketchbook drawing are presented capturing the time he was exploring his artistic impulses, shaping the basic components and aesthetics of his artworks. Τhe exhibition is on display until July 1st.
