One hundred international artists took over a São Paulo museum till mid-August, where art, music, film and performances and more are evolving right in front of attendees.
Nova is the title of this unique creative endeavor at the Museu da Imagem e do Som that will challenge contemporary techniques and modern technology. Put on by the creative consortium Rojo, artists such as Krink, MWM Graphics, Highraff, Bruno 9li and Ryoichi Kurikawa have already taken up residence to make their mark on mediums spanning everything from hand-made illustrations to digital media. The program is enriched with musical performances by Chicks on Speed, Fuck Buttons and more, while workshops, video installations, roundtables and more inform visitors and other artists alike.
