Rashad Alakbarov is a well-known artist from Azerbaijan, who turns his fixation with light and shadows into art. He uses translucent objects, wire, garbage and boxes or even broken toys, to create light and shadow paintings on walls. The outcome is amazing and the original installation does not portray the “painting” when all the lights are off but one. The above seen light painting was made with colored airplanes for the Fly to Baku exhibition at De Pury Gallery in London.
