9. Arcade Fire – Reflektor
Arcade Fire’s fourth studio album’s artwork depicts Rodin’s statue of Orpheus and Eurydice placed over a grainy digitalised background, and might evoke the idea of juxtaposition of art in the modern day. The static represents the increasingly technological age in which we live, and the classical sculpture the traditional idea of art (music, in this case); how these two interact in contemporary culture is a problem musicians face in their creation of their art.
